İZOCAM TYPE 700 INDUSTRIAL MAT | High-Temperature Industrial Insulation

İzocam Type 700 Industrial Mat | High-Temperature Resistant Industrial Insulation

İzocam Type 700 Industrial Mat is a professional stone wool-based insulation product designed to provide thermal, fire, and acoustic insulation simultaneously under heavy industrial conditions. While it shares similar characteristics with the Type 650 series, it offers higher insulation efficiency thanks to its lower thermal conductivity value.

It is safely used on process lines and industrial equipment surfaces exposed to high temperatures. Thanks to its galvanized wire mesh (rabitz wire) facing, it maintains its shape during application and remains firmly fixed in areas with high vibration.

Application Method

  • Mats are cut to size according to the application surface.
  • Joints are stitched using galvanized wire through the rabitz mesh.
  • Approximately 5–6 fixing pins per m² are used.
  • Pins also act as spacers for the outer metal cladding.
  • Joints must be tightly sealed to prevent heat loss.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Type 700 used?
It is used in high-temperature pipelines, furnace surfaces, process pipes, industrial chimneys, and power plants.

Why is Type 700 more efficient than Type 650?
Because it has a lower thermal conductivity value (0.058 W/mK), providing better insulation performance.

Is it fire resistant?
Yes, it is classified as A1 non-combustible material.

What thickness options are available?
It is produced in thicknesses ranging from 30 mm to 100 mm.

Does it lose shape over time?
No, thanks to the rabitz wire mesh, it maintains its shape and stays securely fixed to the surface.
