FİXA ROUGH PLASTER (HAND-APPLIED PLASTER) | Fiber-Reinforced Ready-Mix Base Coat Plaster – High Adhesion and Easy Application

FİXA ROUGH PLASTER (HAND-APPLIED PLASTER) – High Strength and Easy Application

FİXA ROUGH PLASTER (HAND-APPLIED PLASTER) is a cement-based, fiber- and polymer-modified ready-mix base coat plaster designed for manual application. Thanks to its high adhesion strength and crack resistance, it can be safely used on both interior and exterior surfaces. It provides excellent bonding to concrete, brick, aerated concrete, fair-faced concrete, and pumice block substrates, creating an ideal base for finishing coats.

Application Steps

Surface Preparation

The substrate must be clean, sound, and free from dust, oil, and loose particles. Absorbent surfaces should be lightly moistened before application. On low-absorbency concrete surfaces, an adhesion-promoting primer should be used.

Mortar Preparation

Mix 25 kg of product with 5.5–6.5 liters of water using a low-speed mixer for 3–4 minutes. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes, then remix briefly before application.

Application

Apply manually using a steel trowel or plastering trowel at a thickness of 10–30 mm per coat. Additional coats should be applied after the previous layer has set. Level the surface using a straightedge or trowel to achieve a smooth finish.

Curing

Protect the applied surface from direct sunlight, strong winds, and frost. If necessary, lightly moisten the surface within the first 24 hours after application.

Waiting Time

Allow at least 7 days before applying paint or decorative finishes.
