Product Description
FİXA® Granite Tile Adhesive is a cement-based, polymer-modified professional adhesive developed to provide high performance and durability for large-format ceramic, granite, marble, and natural stone installations. Classified as C2T according to EN 12004-1, it offers high bond strength, slip resistance, and excellent stability. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications and delivers long-lasting performance even with heavy coverings.

Surface Preparation
- The substrate must be fully cured.
- Remove oil, dust, paint, silicone, detergent residues, and form-release agents.
- Damaged substrates should be repaired with FİXA Repair Mortar at least 24 hours before application.
- The substrate should be slightly damp.
- Use primer on highly absorbent surfaces.
- In wet areas, waterproof using appropriate FİXA waterproofing products.
Mortar Preparation
- 25 kg powder → 5.5–6.5 liters of clean water
- Mix with a low-speed mixer until smooth and homogeneous.
- Allow the mixture to rest for 5–10 minutes, then remix for 1–2 minutes.
- Pot life: Approximately 2.5 hours
Application Instructions
- First apply a thin contact layer to the substrate.
- Comb the adhesive using a notched trowel suitable for the tile size.
- At least 80% of the back of the tile must be in contact with the adhesive.
- Double-sided application (buttering-floating) is recommended for large-format tiles.
- Firmly set the tiles using a rubber mallet.
- Leave grout joints appropriate to the tile size.
Consumption
Average: 4–6 kg/m² (depending on the application)
Precautions
- Do not apply below +5°C or above +35°C.
- Do not add excessive water to the mortar.
- Do not apply where there is a risk of freezing.
- Do not add water or powder to mortar that has exceeded its pot life.
- Use only unopened bags.
