Surface Preparation

The substrate must be fully cured.

Remove dust, oil, silicone, detergent residues, paint, release agents, and other contaminants.

Repair damaged surfaces using FİXA Repair Mortar at least 24 hours before application.

Cement-based substrates should be slightly dampened.
-
Use a suitable primer on highly absorbent substrates.

In wet areas, apply FİXA waterproofing products before installation.
Mortar Preparation

Mix 25 kg of powder with 6.5–6.75 liters of clean water.

Mix with a low-speed mixer until homogeneous.
-
Allow the mixture to rest for 2–3 minutes, then remix for 1–2 minutes.

Use the prepared mortar within 25–30 minutes.
Application Instructions

Apply a thin contact layer to the substrate first.

Comb the adhesive using an appropriately sized notched trowel.

Ensure at least 80% coverage on the back of the tile.

Use the double-buttering method for large-format tiles.
-
Firmly press tiles into place using a rubber mallet.

Leave appropriate grout joints according to tile size and complete the installation using FİXA grout products.
Consumption
Average consumption: 4–6 kg/m², depending on the application method and tile size.
Precautions

Do not apply below +5°C or above +35°C.

Due to its rapid setting properties, mixing and application times are critical.

Do not add excess water.

Do not apply where there is a risk of freezing.

Never add water or powder to mortar that has exceeded its pot life.
