Application Procedure
1) Surface Preparation
Cement-Based Surfaces
Surfaces must be strong, clean, and properly leveled.
Areas requiring repair should be repaired with INNO-CRETE products.
If the surface temperature is above +25°C, it should be slightly moistened before application.
Other Surfaces
For highly absorbent surfaces such as:
- Aerated concrete
- Gypsum plaster
- Chipboard
- Gypsum board
- Lime plaster
FOX PRIMERA® FL220 primer diluted with water at a 1:1 ratio should be applied.
Bonding application should begin after a minimum waiting period of 8 hours.
2) Mixing
- Add the recommended amount of water into a clean container.
- Add the material slowly while mixing.
- Mix for 3–4 minutes at 400–600 rpm.
- Allow the mixture to rest for 1 minute and mix again for 1 minute.

3) Application
- Apply approximately a 1 mm thick layer using the flat side of the trowel.
- Comb the adhesive with the notched side to achieve a uniform thickness.
- For ceramics with different thicknesses, applying approximately 1 mm adhesive to the back of each ceramic piece is recommended.
- Ceramic materials should be placed by floating them into the adhesive mortar.
- For grouting applications, INNO-FIX series grouts should be used approximately 24 hours after application.
4) Applicability Test
The open time should be checked with a finger test.
- If the adhesive sticks to the finger, application can continue.
- If it does not stick, the open time has expired.
5) Tool Cleaning
Tools should be cleaned immediately after application with water.
Hardened adhesive mortar can only be removed mechanically.
6) Consumption
Consumption varies depending on the tooth thickness of the ceramic trowel:
3.5–8 kg/m²
Important Considerations
- Suitable application conditions should be waited for if surface and ambient temperatures are below +5°C or above +30°C.
- Application should not be performed during extremely hot, rainy, or windy weather conditions.
- Outdoor applications should be protected from sun, rain, wind, and frost for the first 24 hours.
- Working and reaction times may vary depending on weather conditions, humidity, and surface temperature.
Packaging, Storage, and Shelf Life
