FOX BETON RP25 RAPID – Fast and Reliable Solution for Construction Sites Racing Against Time
Time management is one of the most critical factors in construction projects. Especially in renovation, refurbishment, and fast-track projects, conventional concrete and screed applications can lead to significant delays. FOX BETON RP25 RAPID has been specially developed to overcome these challenges and stands out as a fast-drying ready-mixed dry concrete/screed mortar that can be walked on after only 3 hours.
Thanks to its cement-based structure, polymer additives, and fiber reinforcement, it provides both rapid application advantages and C25 concrete strength performance. As a result, safe and long-lasting surfaces can be achieved in a short period of time.
What is FOX BETON RP25 RAPID?
FOX BETON RP25 RAPID is a factory-produced, cement-based ready-mixed dry concrete/screed mortar reinforced with polymer additives and fiber fibers, designed for rapid setting.
Compared to the standard RP25 product, its main advantage is that it becomes ready for use and covering applications within a much shorter time.
According to the technical data sheet:
- The surface can be walked on after 3 hours.
- Ceramic, granite, and similar rigid coverings can be applied after 4 hours.
- PVC, parquet, carpet, and similar elastic/textile coverings can be applied after 48 hours.

Application Procedure
1. Surface Preparation
The application surface must be clean, dry, sound, and free from dust.
Application should not be carried out on frozen surfaces or surfaces with salt and lime efflorescence.
Weak concrete parts must be removed and damaged areas should be fully opened.
Dust generated during preparation must be removed using an industrial vacuum cleaner.
For applications on concrete and existing screed surfaces, priming is recommended to improve adhesion.
2. Priming
For FOX BETON RP25 RAPID applications, the surface should be primed with FOX UNIPRIMER FL555.
The wet-on-wet application method should be preferred, and the mortar should be applied before the primer dries.
3. Mixing Ratios
For 1 kg of product: 95–110 ml water
For 25 kg bag: 2.375–2.75 liters water
Using water outside the recommended ratios may negatively affect product performance and strength.
4. Application
The product should be mixed homogeneously for 4–5 minutes using a concrete mixer or hand mixer.
It should be spread and levelled using a trowel or suitable hand tools.
The product should not be force-dried; natural curing conditions should be maintained.
Power floating can be performed approximately 1–1.5 hours after application.
Covering application times:
- After 4 hours: Ceramic, granite, and similar rigid coverings
- After 48 hours: PVC, parquet, carpet, and similar elastic coverings
- After 48 hours and later: Epoxy or polyurethane coatings after moisture control
Consumption
Approximately 20 kg/m² for 1 cm thickness
Important Considerations During Application
- Ambient and surface temperatures should be between +5°C and +25°C.
- Application should not be performed in extremely hot, rainy, or windy weather conditions.
- In cold weather, the environment and materials should be conditioned between +20°C and +25°C.
- Rapid drying of the surface should be prevented during the curing process.
- Excessive use of mixing water may cause strength loss.
Packaging, Storage and Shelf Life
