Izocam (Stone Wool, Glass Wool, Marine Insulation Blanket)
Since its establishment in 1965, Izocam has maintained its leading position in the insulation sector. As the pioneer of the Turkish insulation industry, Izocam A.Ş. launched its first factory in Gebze in 1967, beginning glass wool production. In 1986, a second glass wool factory was established in Tarsus, and by 1992, its production capacity had doubled.
With the expansion of glass wool capacity in the Tarsus factory, the glass wool production in the Gebze facility was converted to stone wool in 1993. Currently, the company produces a total of 130,000 tons per year of mineral wool, with 55,000 tons/year in glass wool production and 75,000 tons/year in stone wool production.
Izocam Marine Insulation Blanket
Izocam’s marine insulation blanket is designed to provide superior thermal and acoustic insulation in ships and marine structures. The high-temperature-resistant stone wool marine insulation blankets are also used for fire insulation. These blankets are cut to appropriate sizes, wrapped around surfaces, and sewn together with galvanized wire to prevent gaps. On large surfaces, they are fixed using mounting pins and secured with plates. These pins also act as spacers for sheet metal coverings. Two different options are available: Marine Firebatts 32 (MF 32) and Marine Wired Mat 80 (MWM 80).
Izocam offers high-quality thermal insulation solutions for terraces and attic roofs, ensuring energy efficiency. Particularly for unoccupied attic spaces, glass wool roof blankets stand out for their ease of application and cost-effectiveness. These products also provide effective thermal insulation for metal and sandwich roofs.
Izocam wall insulation products cater to a wide range of applications, from lightweight partition walls to interior insulation of exterior facades. These insulation solutions improve energy efficiency by providing both thermal and acoustic insulation. They are particularly effective in stairwells, elevator shafts, and adjoining walls.
Izocam floor insulation solutions enhance both thermal and acoustic insulation. Applied in products such as suspended ceiling panels and underlayment boards for parquet flooring, these solutions contribute to soundproofing and energy conservation.
Izocam’s HVAC insulation products enhance energy efficiency and noise reduction in ventilation and air conditioning ducts. With prefabricated air ducts, stone wool air conditioning boards, and air conditioning blankets, these solutions improve the performance of mechanical systems. Additionally, they minimize heat loss, condensation, and improve overall system efficiency.
Izocam Industrial Insulation
Izocam provides a broad range of industrial insulation products, including high-temperature-resistant industrial blankets and boards that ensure energy savings. These products are primarily used to enhance thermal insulation and fire safety in industrial facilities. Specifically, industrial blankets increase efficiency in industrial plants by providing superior thermal resistance and energy conservation.
Izocam also offers solutions for the plastered exterior insulation sector with its Izocam Manto products. In 2011, at its Gebkim facilities, Izocam consolidated the production of Foamboard (XPS), Izopor (EPS), and Izocam Tekiz Insulated Panel and Trapezoidal products.
Exporting internationally certified products manufactured with advanced technology, Izocam significantly contributes to the national economy by supplying insulation materials to 46 countries, including the Balkans, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Turkic Republics, the Middle East, and Africa.
Today, Izocam remains the leading company in the insulation industry, offering a broad product range that protects against heat, cold, noise, fire, and moisture, along with expert technical consultancy services. Izocam adheres to global standards by fulfilling international requirements with an eco-conscious approach.
Izocam applies ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System in its facilities. Izocam insulation products bear the CE mark, indicating compliance with essential requirements defined in the International Building Materials Regulation’s Article 6. Additionally, mineral wools, including stone wool and glass wool, hold the EUCEB certification, which is exclusively granted to bio-soluble products.
Izocam products also comply with Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) criteria. Our Roof Blanket and Rulopan products have earned the Eurofins Gold certification, demonstrating compliance with national emission limits in EU countries.
